Abbott was super cute, and I loved how Odin was so personable with his einherjar. I wish that there was a little more realistic transition between Abbott being scared of Cutter rejecting him for being gay and instantly assuming that Cutter will comfort him as a little. But, these two were fun to read about even though the character development was a bit lackluster.My other big question was around the Hell Hounds. How can they really be more than an isolated irritation to a worldwide organization like Odin’s Warriors? They are only human, having no idea about the immortality of the einherjar. And yet, they are described as being the major focus of Odin’s whole organization - like some kind of grand rivalry. It seems to me that pitting humans against paranormals is a bit overkill.
